Nasivion® Mini (Baby) Nose Drops

Better breathing for improved eating and sleeping when baby has a bout of rhinitis.

Nasivion® Baby Nose Drops is a nasal decongestant in an easy drop form. It unblocks the nose to help your baby play and learn in a more enjoyable way. It’s active ingredient Oxymetazoline is well tolerable on the nose1 and provides up to 12 hours2 of easier breathing.
USEFUL INFORMATION

Nasivion® Child Nose Drops – for effective and long lasting blocked nose relief
INGREDIENTS

Each ml of Nasivion® Baby Nose Drops contains:

- 0.01 mg Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride USP (active ingredient) in buffered aqueous solution

- 0.3 mg Benzalkonium Chloride Solution 50% IP (as preservative)

PRESENTATION

DOSAGE AND FREQUENCY OF USE

Intranasal administration for infants below one year. Up to the age of 4 weeks, instill 1 drop of the solution into each nostril 2-3 times per day. From the 5th week of life until the age of 1 year, instill 1-2 drops into each nostril 2-3 times per day or as directed by the physician.

Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride containing nasal drops should not be used for longer than 10 consecutive days. A treatment free period of several days should precede any repeated use.

Medical supervision is indicated in pre-mature or underweight new-borns to avoid the risk of over-dosage.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Preserve in tight containers at a temperature not exceeding 30°C

Do not use if seal is broken

Close the cap tightly after use

Keep out of reach of children

Follow easy steps to use Nasivion® Baby Nasal Drops
  • Clean the baby’s nose
  • In lying down posture, the baby’s head can be tilted backwards or comfortably arched over the edge of the bed
  • Squeeze the dropper to apply the correct number of drops into the nose.
  • With the dropper inverted over the affected nostril, instill drops of the solution as per the suggested use
Then the baby will be able to breathe freely for up to 12 hours.2

DID YOU KNOW?

There are lots of small things you can do to help alleviate the discomfort of rhinitis for your baby. Give your little one plenty of liquids – the nursing or bottle also provides a bit of comfort. Create a steam room to reduce stuffiness or use a saline solution nasal spray to clean the nose and loosen up the mucus.
